Soft opening Beyond the Trees Avondale

On June 21, 2022 "Beyond the Trees Avondale", eak AG's first Irish treetop walk, opened its doors to visitors as part of a soft opening. 

A collaboration between Coillte, Fáilte Ireland and EAK Ireland, Ireland's newest attraction brings a unique visitor experience to Ireland's Ancient East that will delight young and old alike. From the 1,440 meter long walkway and the 38 meter high observation tower, visitors can now enjoy breathtaking views of the Wicklow`s landscape and the Wicklow Mountain Nationalpark. 

Another attraction will be added to the Beyond the Trees Avondale experience in fall when the renovation of Avondale House is completed. Already open are the Seed Café, a children's playground, a sensory garden and the Coillte Pavilion area, which showcases the history and importance of Irish forestry. 

The official opening will take place on July 6th, with Irish President Michael D. Higgins among others.
