On 7th of April, the forest and wildlife park "Espace Rambouillet" in France reopened. Since last year, Erlebnis Akademie AG (eak) has been involved in the operating company "Rambouillet Nature" under the aegis of Pierre Singer and his daughter Camille Singer, as Bernd Bayerköhler, spokesman of the eak board, explains. "Congratulations to our friends and partners! We are happy for them and for us that the doors of this unique excursion destination at the gates of Paris are open again," says Bayerköhler.
L'Espace Rambouillet was established 50 years ago by the "Office national des forêts" (French national forest). After one and a half years of closure and two months of development, the nature park is now open to visitors again. The 250-hectare forest with centuries-old birch and oak trees is home to 200 large animals such as deer, roe deer, fallow deer and wild boar as well as 150 bird species such as eagles, owls and falcons. The mission of the founders as well as the new operators: to make nature tangible, to unite fun and understanding for nature and to preserve the green oasis in the heart of France in all its diversity. With the forest trail, a discovery booklet, themed trails and seasonal events, many plans have already been put into practice. Visitors can expect more surprises this year - and in the years to come. "We are proud that we as eak can participate in the preservation and further development of this retreat for humans and animals in the coming years," says eak spokesman Bernd Bayerköhler.
