Erlebnis Akademie AG, conceptualises, builds and operates easily accessible nature experience facilities and currently owns five treetop walks in Germany (Bavarian Forest, Rügen, Black Forest, Saarschleife and on Usedom). In the Czech Republic, eak is involved on basis of a joint venture in the two treetop walks in Lipno and in the Giant Mountains, in Slovakia in the Treetop Walk Bachledka, in Slovenia in the Treetop Walk Pohorje and in Ireland in the Treetop Walk Avondale. With a length of 1,300 meters, Erlebnis Akademie AG operates one of the world’s longest treetop walk in the Bavarian Forest National Park.
At a height between 8 and 25 meters above the forest floor, visitors can go for a stroll in untouched nature and experience unique perspectives.
The access via entrance tower with integrated lift also enables seniors, wheelchair users, and parents with prams to comfortably and blithely visit the facility.

The first treetop walk in the Czech Republic provides visitors with a unique natural experience enhanced by didactic, experimental and sense-oriented elements.
The walkway is integrated gently into the landscape around the Lipno Reservoir and thus represents a unique addition to the Lipno Active Park.
The 675-meter walkway ends on the platform of the impressive observation tower at a height of 40 meters. All this makes the treetop walk an ideal tourist attraction for active visitors, families and seniors.

In a unique combination, between “Kleiner Jasmunder Boden” and “Prorer Wiek”, lie the three ecosystems forest, open land, and wetlands on the natural heritage area “Prora”, owned by the DBU (Federal Foundation for the Environment).
They are in the centre of the Naturerbe Zentrum Rügen (natural heritage centre). Here, visitors of all ages can experience and learn about nature: at eye level with pristine beech trees on the easy-accessible treetop walk, on guided tours such as the one to the famous Feuerstein fields, or in the exciting adventure exhibitions.
The highlight is the 40-meter high observation tower of the treetop walk, which is modelled on an eagle's nest. From a height of 82 meters above sea level, it allows a clear view over the unique landscape of the Baltic island of Rügen.

The Treetop Walk Black Forest has been opened by Erlebnis Akademie AG on the Sommerberg located in Bad Wildbad in September 2014.
With an overall length of 1,250 metres and a height of up to 20 metres, the treetop walk meanders past numerous learning and activity stations. Its highlight is the 40-metre-high, architecturally unique observation tower, which offers visitors a unique view over the mountain tops of the northern Black Forest.
On clear days, you can see as far as the Swiss Alps.

The second Czech treetop walk of Erlebnis Akademie AG is located in the Giant Mountains (Krkonoše) in Janské Lázně. As all treetop walks of eak, it is built to be easily accessible. The 1,500-meter pathway meanders through the majestic mixed mountain forest and ends on the platform of the impressive lookout tower at a height of 45 meters. An 80-meter long tunnel slide creates the right amount of tension. All this makes the treetop walk an ideal destination for active visitors, families and seniors. A gastronomic area including souvenir shop and an exhibition in cooperation with the Krkonoše National Park complete the offer.
New and so far unique for eak’s projects: the walkway not only leads up high, but also deep down. Under the ground, in an artificial cave, it offers visitors unique insights into the world of the National Park from below. The project was realized as part of a joint venture.

In the Slovak part of the High Tatras, near the village of Bachledova Dolina, the first treetop walk in Slovakia was opened on 29th September 2017. A timber construction with observation tower, learning and experience stations, as well as a slide are the well-proven features of an Erlebnis Akademie AG (eak) treetop walk, which can also to be found on the seventh facility of the company. For eak and its Czech subsidiary Zazitkova Akademie s.r.o, this is the third treetop walk that has been implemented as part of a joint venture – In this case with the partner Ski Resort Bachledka.
The 32-meter high observation tower provides a 360-degree view of the world’s smallest high mountains, the Slovakian lowlands south of the Tatra and the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. For the first time the entire course of the walkway will be visible from the highest tower platform, as it meanders continuously at the top of the treetop or even above it through the mixed mountain forest. Also new and for the first time on this treetop walk is the 75m² walk-in net in the middle of the tower top, which promises even deeper insights.

In July 2018, the Treetop Walk Salzkammergut opened its gates on the Grünberg in Gmunden. Already along the up to 21-meter-high walkway, spectacular views of the Traunstein, the Traunsee and the town of Gmunden with Schloss Ort are made possible.
Once arrived on the 39-meter-high observation tower also the foothills of the Alps and the Salzkammergut are in front of the eyes of visitors. As with all treetop walks of the Erlebnis Akademie AG, numerous interactive experience and learning stations complement the offer of the barrier-free wooden construction.

The treetop walk in Zreče / Rogla is eak‘s ninth facility and the first Slovenian one. The architecturally sophisticated wooden structure southwest of Maribor contains an imposing observation tower in a nine-cornered design, from whose top platform large parts of Slovenia can be seen all the way to neighboring countries. The highlight is the 37-meter-high observation tower, which was designed in a nine-cornered floor plan.

On 22th of May 2021, the Treetop Walk Alsace opened its doors in the French town of Drachenbronn. With a walkway length (including tower ramp) of 1,050 meters and a tower height of 29 meters, the wooden construction blends in perfectly with nature. As one of the highest points along the foothills of the Vosges, the observation tower offers a unique 360° view over the Rhine plain, the Black Forest and the Northern Vosges. Several learning and activity stations as well as a slide inside the tower provide excitement and entertainment. In addition, a building with entrance and exit to the treetop walk, a merchandise shop and a restaurant with winter garden and terrace area as well as a free shuttle train that runs from the large parking lot to the entrance area of the adventure facility, are part of the all-round offer of the treetop walk.

The fifth German treetop walk of Erlebnis Akademie AG is located in Heringsdorf on the vacation island of Usedom. At a height of up to 23 metres the sustainable adventure trail leads through the different levels of the forest. Over a path length of 1,350 metres, the accessible walkway provides interesting information about environmental education and the region through numerous learning stations. Activity stations with exciting balancing elements at lofty heights invite you to join in.
As you walk up to the treetops, unique perspectives of the island of Usedom open up, which already give you a small foretaste of the view from the approx. 33-metre-high, square observation tower. From hereb there is a unique view over the Baltic Sea. A special highlight is the 50 m² walk-on net on the top platform of the tower. An entrance hall with shop, gastronomy and beer garden completes the overall offer of the Treetop Walk Usedom.

Since 21 June 2022, the Treetop Walk Avondale has been open to visitors as Ireland's first tree top trail in the middle of the centuries-old Avondale Forest Park in County Wicklow. What makes it special: The unique nature experience facility is part of the Beyond the Trees Avondale adventure park. The 1,440 metre long treetop walk invites you to discover trees from all over the world, some of which are over 250 years old, at treetop level. As with the other eak treetop walks, learning and activity stations provide the right amount of fun and entertainment.
The highlight is the 38-metre high observation tower with integrated slide and breathtaking 360-degree views over Avondale Forest Park, the Avonmore River Valley and Wicklow Mountain National Park. Following its renovation, the new Avondale House visitor centre directly on site will give guests an interactive insight into the living history of historic Avondale House and its famous former residents, the Parnell family. In addition, the park has a café, a playground and a unique sensory garden.

The Treetop Walk Laurentides in Quebec is eak's first facility in Canada and welcomes all nature lovers on a more than 1,400-metre-long path in the middle of the forest. The 13th nature experience facility of the eak is located on the site of a former fish farm of the 'MRC des Laurentides', an administrative region in Quebec. A spectacular observation tower rises 40 metres into the sky and offers visitors a breathtaking view of the magnificent landscape of the Laurentian Mountains, Mont Tremblant and the national park of the same name, as well as Mont Blanc. An additional highlight for all adventurous visitors is the 70m² walkable net installed in the middle of the top platform of the tower.
