Who we are

Erlebnis Akademie AG (eak), with its extraordinary and impressive treetop walks, is a leading provider in the near-nature leisure and adventure area and sets standards for outdoor adventure facilities in a growing market.

The predominantly wooden, easily accessible treetop walks are built with the highest standards of architecture in a nature-friendly design.

They integrate perfectly into the surrounding nature and enhance their surroundings as an adventure destination. For visitors of all ages incomparable experiences of nature are created, complemented by educational and movement-oriented elements.

13 treetop walks including complementary facilities have been established for a total investment of approx. € 70 million in the Bavarian Forest National Park, in Lipno (joint venture), on the Baltic island Rügen and Usedom, in the Black Forest, at the Saarschleife, in the Czech Giant Mountains (joint venture), in Slovakia (joint venture - Bachledka, High Tatras), in the Salzkammergut on lake Traunsee (AT), in Slovenia (joint venture - Pohorje), in France in Alsace, in Ireland (joint venture - Avondale) and on the North American continent in Canada (Laurentides).

In 2022, approx. 2.4 million guests visited the locations of Erlebnis Akademie AG, compared to approx. 1.75 million in the previous year (total figures incl. minority interests)

As an additional offer, Erlebnis Akadmie AG has built and operates two Adventure Forest playgrounds in Germany. The forest playgrounds are integrated into the forest with near-natural play and learning stations and are located on the Sommerberg in the Black Forest and on the Saarschleife. In Slovakia, the Forest Kingdom complements the offer at the Bachledka location. Since June 2022, there has also been an Adventure Forest at the Alsace location in France.

Clear growth strategy with attractive project pipeline for new nature experience facilities

Further specific perspectives are offered by the expansion of merchandising, additional seminar and gastronomy offers, complementor marketing - as well as in perspective by concept transfer to e.g. zoos or entire nature experience worlds.
