Erlebnis Akademie AG with very high subscription and oversubscription rate for capital increase

• 88.6% of the total volume already placed with existing shareholders via subscription rights and oversubscription

Bad Kötzting, 1 April 2021 – Erlebnis Akademie AG can successfully place its cash capital increase for further growth financing which includes numerous national and international projects. Of the up to 404,142 new shares offered, 88.6% were subscribed for by existing shareholders in subscription and oversubscription. The remaining 45,966 new shares will be offered to interested investors for subscription in a private placement until 7 April. The private placement is already significantly oversubscribed. The capital increase can bring the company a total of up to 5.25 million euros, which will be used for project financing of further treetop walks.

"Our company is currently growing rapidly and we have the opportunity to act as a leading provider of treetop walks in the international market. The capital increase will once again strengthen our options for growth financing," reports Christoph Blaß, CFO of Erlebnis Akademie AG. "The fact that our shareholders are accompanying us on this path is a great vote of confidence - especially in this pandemic-ridden environment."

For the current business year alone, the construction of three more treetop walks is planned, including Quebec, Canada, the first non-European location. Further new locations are planned in Germany and Ireland. 

The new shares were offered to the shareholders by way of indirect subscription rights. The subscription price was 13.00 euros per new share. Upon entry in the commercial register, the new shares will be included in the existing listing and admitted to trading. With the capital increase, the share capital of the company will be increased to up to 2,424,856.00 euros through the issue of up to 404,142 new bearer shares. The transaction was accompanied by Small & Mid Cap Investmentbank AG (SMC).
