Erlebnis Akademie AG successfully completes capital increase with full placement

Bad Kötzting, 8 April 2021 – Erlebnis Akademie AG successfully completed its capital increase with a rights offering and subsequent private placement yesterday. 88.6% of the 404,142 new shares offered were subscribed for by existing shareholders in the course of the exercise of subscription rights and oversubscription. The remaining 45,966 new shares were offered to interested investors for subscription in a private placement. The private placement was significantly oversubscribed. In total, the company will receive 5.25 million euros from the capital increase.

"The capital increase gives us additional freedom to implement new projects and we are thrilled with the response from shareholders and investors, especially against the background of the current environment," says Christoph Blaß, CFO of Erlebnis Akademie AG. "With the opening of two more locations in 2021 and the planned start of construction of three more treetop walks in Germany and abroad, the present financial year will be one of the most eventful and, measured in terms of the number of projects, fastest-growing years since eak was founded, despite the restrictions caused by the pandemic."

The new shares were offered to the shareholders by way of indirect subscription rights. The subscription price was 13.00 euros per new share. Upon entry in the commercial register, the new shares will be included in the existing listing and admitted to trading. With the capital increase, the share capital of the company will be increased to 2,424,856.00 euros through the issue of 404,142 new bearer shares. The transaction was accompanied by Small & Mid Cap Investmentbank AG (SMC).
