After captivating thousands of visitors in Europe, Lumagica continues its journey in Canada

The Sentier des cimes Laurentides, known for its spectacular views and fully accessible nature experiences, becomes the setting for Lumagica this winter, a serene light experience created in collaboration with MK Illumination, a global leader in artistic lighting.

Designed as an evening walk through the forest, the experience offers a calm and contemplative immersion where nature becomes the backdrop for a beautiful luminous world. Throughout the elevated pathway, light sculptures and enveloping atmospheres transform the winter landscape into a soothing space for reflection. The experience culminates at the 40-metre panoramic tower, beautifully adorned with giant stars, creating a memorable moment where light and height come together.

Émile’s Wish

Inspired by the tale of Émile, the curious little squirrel who dreamed of lighting up the forest and gathering his friends, the experience invites each visitor to make a wish at the top of the illuminated tower, becoming part of the story as it unfolds.

A natural collaboration

The Treetop Walk Laurentides team explains that this collaboration with MK Illumination naturally aligns with the site’s mission: highlighting the beauty of nature and offering experiences that are poetic, accessible and deeply respectful of the environment. “Lumagica blends perfectly with the spirit of the Treetop Walk: an invitation to slow down, to be inspired by the forest, and to experience winter differently,” explains Nicolas Joly, General Manager.

Visitors can also enjoy the exceptional setting of the historic Ancienne-Pisciculture site, gently illuminated by Lumagica. The restaurant Chez Émile and its warmly decorated terrace offer a welcoming space for an apéritif, enhanced by outdoor fires and the quiet beauty of the winter landscape.
