Game reserve - a nature trip for the whole family
16 large enclosures and aviaries have been built in the diverse forest landscape on the edges of the National Park. Currently and formerly indigenous animals, such as lynx, bison and brown bears, are housed in extensive enclosures in our animal reserve.
You can learn about the geology of the region in the geological exhibition, or discover the diversity of the indigenous forest plants in all seasons in our botanical exhibition.
Combine your treetop walk visit with a trip to the animal, botanical and geological reserves in the Bavarian Forest National Park.
Admission is free.
