The accessible treetop walk meanders for 1,250 metres through beeches, oaks and Douglas firs towards the Saarschleife.

In the truest sense of the word, the highlight of the walk is the 42-metre-high observation tower. From the platform, you’ll be treated to a unique panoramic view over the landscape of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park - down into the Saarschleife valley and, on a clear day, as far as the Vosges mountain range in France.
The wooden construction consists of nine laminated beams arranged in a semicircle. A 2.50-metre-wide ramp leads up to the tower on either side of the central structure. The ramp is easy to master with a wheelchair, a pushchair and for anyone with a physical disability as the gradient never exceeds 6%. There are horizontal platforms on the inner (every 24 m) and outer (every 36 metres) sides of the ramp where you can rest and catch your breath. The observation platform at the top of the tower measures over 70 square metres, providing plenty of space for everyone, even on busy days.
The appealing restaurant with a large beer garden invites you to stop off on an exciting day. With fresh food from the region and vegan as well as gluten and wheat-free products, the sustainability-conscious restaurant offers a large selection of delicious delicacies.
